In 2007, the Apartment Investment & Management Company undertook a key initiative to focus on unifying their online identity and making the online learning to leasing process efficient, simple, and more customer-centric.
As lead designer for this initiative, I was responsible for the interaction design, information architecture and overall user experience. We also conducted Forrester Usability testing for before and after design, yielding results of taking the site from the 10thpercentile to the 95th – making the design effective, as well as improving the ROI for Aimco. Today, over 400 of AIMCO’s communities across the US are part of this new experience. We collaborated with creative partners for the compositions and style guides.
